Hermosa Mexican Foods takes pride in their tamales. All meats are slow cooked to perfection and we are proud to say that our tamales contain no lard and we use farm fresh ingredients whenever possible.
Hermosa Mexican Foods offers three tamale varieties at their farmer's markets:
Red Chile Pork - A Mexican tradition! Slow roasted pork marinated in a blend of chile spices (medium spice level). Chicken Tomatillo - Tender chicken cooked in Hermosa Tomatillo Sauce (mild spice level) Vegetarian- Black beans, red bell peppers, Anaheim chiles, yellow corn, cilantro, onion, garlic, peppers and spices folded into the masa so every bite is filled with veggies. (Vegan, mild spice level).

Strawberry Strawberries used from Gil's Farms and Youngquist Farms topped with strawberry syrup and creme fraiche
Asparagus, Leeks & Gouda Cheese Steamed asparagus from Bautista Farms, sauteed leeks and smoked Gouda cheese from Samish Bay Cheese Co. topped with lettuce, tomato, cilantro, onion, cheese, sour cream and Hermosa Salsa Verde.
Banana Chocolate Chip Topped with Mexican Chocolate Syrup Homemade creme fraiche and sliced bananas
Chorizo Smoked chorizo with sauteed red, yellow, and orange bell peppers and onion. Topped with a spicy peach salsa.
Blueberry Blueberries, organic sugar, and cinnamon. Topped with creme fraiche and fresh blueberries.
Ratatouille Eggplant, zucchini, squash, bell peppers, tomatoes, onion, garlic, basil and oregano. Topped with a tomato ragout and a garlic-chive sour cream sauce.

Potato Mole Peruvian, Yukon Gold and Red potatoes marinated in a red mole sauce. Topped with mole sauce, Cotija cheese, onion and cilantro.

Jalapeno Jalapenos from Tonnemakers Family Orchards stuffed with Monterey Jack cheese. Topped with beef chili, tomatoes and onions.
